MEETING A NEW FRIEND

In meeting a new friend:
- Remember, first impression last.
- Think before you speak: Don't blurt out words without giving yourself a few minutes first
to plan what you're going to say. Think of its impression.
- Speak clearly: Don't mumble your words nor borrow someone else tonation.
- Use your eyes: When conversing, look directly at the other person and make good eye
contact that is gentle and relaxed. Most especially during interview, don't be afraid to look at
the interviewer directly in the eyes. Then you will stand out and appear comfortable,
confident and friendly.
- Smile sincerely: Put on a genuine (not fake) smile and you will make the people around
you feel good.
- Learn to laugh: Laugh easily at the situation you get yourself into.
- Move with confident: Don't feel timid and insecure, nor seems nervous. Make your
movements count. Sit and walk uprightly but not rigidly. When you look to a group of people,
look up and smile as you greet them.
- Be responsible: Adjust your mood accordingly as that of others.
